I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Romans 12:1-2
We stand in this place for direction from you God... You are the leader of
my soul... My life is not complete without you Lord... I am not sure what
you desire of me but I trust you completely... Every thing I have belongs
to you Lord... You desire only me as a sacrifice, no burnt offering will
do...Yet I lay down my life before you waiting on your command to Go...
You do not desire material things for they have no value in your eyes... My
life is what you desire, a living sacrifice for your service Lord... Remove
the chains and bondages that have hindered my release of my life my living
sacrifice... Lord you require a committed relationship because you are a
jealous God... You will not take second place to my wants and plans... It
is not easy letting go but it is required of me... To release the old in
order to put on the new... Each season requires change, it is a shedding of
the dead and dried up things that are of no use to the plan of God...
It is like a baby tooth as the new tooth begins to push through, it pushes the
old tooth out of the way, because it is painful and we are afraid of how we
will look to others... We try to hold on to that tooth as long as we can...
It makes us uncomfortable to stand out and be different and look different,
we spend time trying to hide it from others because we want to feel
accepted by others... But it happens and the new tooth comes in and we feel
like we fit in somewhere again... It is a new season to walk in and new
blessings and favor, new kingdom connections... 2015 is a year of many New
Beginnings so commit to release the old no matter how painful to let go... Let
God walk you into the New seasons He has plan for you! Happy New Year!
